About Me

Hi, I am Chan Kai Yiu (Heywood). I am a first-year part-time Ph.D. student at the City University of Hong Kong (CityU), supervised by Prof. Xiangyu Zhao of the AML Lab.

My research interests focus on large language models, AI agents, recommender systems, and multimodal AI.

Research Interests

I am particularly interested in building reliable and deployable intelligent systems that can reason, retrieve external knowledge, use tools, and support decision-making in real-world applications.
